Entering through the front door directly from the street you find yourself immediately in the generous living/dining/kitchen area which flows beautifully through to an outside terrace with table and chairs and numerous potted plants and splendid views.  Below this central area, steps lead to more outdoor spaces filled with plants, a wonderful lemon tree and a private pool.

Kitchen

The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped with all the essentials you will need on your holiday.

Living/Dining room

The cosy living room has an open fireplace with comfy sofas, giving onto a charming terrace with delicious views to Africa, the Mediterranean and Gibraltar.  Running parallel is the dining room with a table and chairs suitable for eight people.  The furnishing are eclectic with a hint of modern amongst the rustic style.  The house has an interesting and snug feel to it.

There is also a separate TV den, great for older children or teenagers as it is separate from the main living area.

Bedrooms

A steep staircase takes you up to three bedrooms
There is a double bedroom with a wood burner and one twin room, sharing a bathroom with a basin, bath and wc.
A second double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with twin basins, bath, shower and wc.  This bedroom also has its own private terrace looking over the village below and views beyond.
A fourth double bedroom is accessed from the outside on the way to the swimming pool.  This room has its own bathroom with shower, basin and wc.  This is a fairly basic room but a valuable addition if you are a large party.

Outside

Below this charming house are various patios filled with flowers and greenery.  There is also a barbeque area, shaded by a cover and fabulous plants including a wonderful lemon tree.  This is perfect for some al fresco dining or simply a fun night of barbequing.   At the very bottom of the garden lies the swimming pool

We would not recommend this house for those with small children, elderly or those with disabilities.

Please note that improvements have been made to the house, including soft furnishings so some photographs may not be an exact representation.  But these changes are only for the better!
Extra Details
Casa Sal is located near the centre of Gaucin.  There are bars and restaurants within walking distance.  There are also plenty of shops with local produce, larger general stores and a pharmacy.  Gaucin itself is perfectly situated in the Andalucian Mountains to enjoy both the cultural and historic cities and the buzz and glamour of the coastal towns. The mountains provide a sense of peace with wonderful walks, horse riding and many other cultural activities and art filled pleasures.  The coast being so close also allows you to explore and have some fun on the water, take your pick of many Golf courses or indulge in the boutiques and nightlife.
