Casa Clavel is a modern apartment located in the heart of Gaucin.  The rooms are fresh and welcoming with top quality furnishing.  All on one floor with a spacious open plan kitchen, living, dining area and three bedrooms.  The apartment is south facing with a terrace enjoying wonderful views of the mountainside.  There is a communal swimming pool and private garage.  Casa Clavel is a delightful holiday rental home, perfect for a family, couple or the elderly.  175sqm including the terrace.

Kitchen, Living and Dining Area

As you enter Casa Clavel you are led to the centre of the apartment, a welcoming and fresh open plan living, kitchen and dining space, decorated in a clean white with hints of colour in the fabrics and furnishings.  It provides a warm light atmosphere.  The kitchen area is modern with plenty of space and extremely well equipped with an electric oven, five ring gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster.  It also provides you with all the cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery needed for your holiday.  A separate laundry area is located next to the kitchen with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board.

Beyond the kitchen is the dining area with a large wooden table seating up to eight and an additional living space.  The living area has comfortable sofas and chairs with a wood burner for the colder months plus a hot and cold air conditioning unit.  There is also a 32” television with various UK and international channels and DVD player with various movies.  Wifi is also available.  At the end of this wonderful space are large glass doors that lead to the private terrace area.


The master bedroom is located to one side of the living area and has access to the terrace.  This has an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath and enjoys a king-sized bed.  This bedroom also has a separate hot and cold air conditioning unit.

To the opposite side of the apartment is a twin room (these beds can be joined together) also with access to the terrace.  Behind this is the third bedroom which has a double bed.  These two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower.  Both bathrooms have under floor heating.

A cot and highchair are available on request.


The terrace enjoys wonderful views, a delightful spot to enjoy at any time of the day.  There is an outdoor table for you to enjoy some al fresco dining and additional chairs to unwind.  The terrace is partly covered to allow you to enjoy some sun or relax in the shade.  There is also a shared gated swimming pool below the apartment which is 10.5m 5.5m and 1.2m – 1.6m deep.  Terrace areas surround the pool with sun beds for you to make use of.  There is also a pool shower and fridge.

The apartment has a private underground garage with one parking space.

Casa Clavel  is located in the centre of Gaucin.  There are bars and restaurants within walking distance.  There are also plenty of shops with local produce, larger general stores and a pharmacy.  There is street parking near the house and if you are lucky just by the front door.  Gaucin itself is perfectly situated in the Andalucian Mountains to enjoy both the cultural and historic cities and the buzz and glamour of the coastal towns. The mountains provide a sense of peace with wonderful walks, horse riding and many other cultural activities and art filled pleasures.  The coast being so close also allows you to explore and have some fun on the water, take your pick of many Golf courses or indulge in the boutiques and nightlife.

Changeover day is on a Saturday.
The property must be vacated by 11.00am and arrival is at 4pm unless previously agreed with agent.
All linen is provided and a change of linen is provided on rentals over one week.
During winter months a basket of logs (sufficient for 2/3 nights) is provided. Extra logs required can be purchased locally at €7.00 per bag.
Responsible use of gas and electricity is included in the weekly rental price.

Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the ‘Cancellation Policy’.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.

Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
