The privacy and blissful silence of this modern villa is incredibly calming and the panoramic views of the rolling hills of Casares are fabulous. Casa Pimenton lies twenty minutes from the coast set off the mountain road on the way to Gaucin.   As you approach the property through electronic gates and up the gravel driveway to the entrance patio, the modern luxuries are immediately evident.  Large glass doors encompass the front of the villa, which sits in a lawned garden with sculptured hedges and a private pool surrounded by day beds and sun loungers.  Inside there are dramatic open plan rooms with light pouring through the many doorways leading to the large outdoor space.  The villa is designed with stylish new marble floors and surfaces, modern accessories with hints of the traditional Spanish, reminding us of where we are. 

 Living

As you walk across the sun filled entrance patio and through the heavy wooden front doors the main living area is the first grand space you find.  With a supremely comfortable sofa and armchairs there is no better place to relax than in the coolness of this room.  There are French windows spaced out on two sides of this room leading out onto its own shady terrace and on to the fabulous flat grounds of the villa.  This room also enjoys a 42” television and a surround sound music system which extends throughout the rest of the downstairs and outside.

Kitchen/Dining

As you leave the main living area and through the interior open doorways, you enter the dining room.  Here there is a table and chairs seating up to eight for a fine dine. 

Leading from the dining area through the light filled spaces you enter the kitchen area.  This is a fabulous room and remarkable in size.  With an open plan layout this room also has another dining area and at the end a seating area with a second 42” television and a comfortable sofa.  The most dramatic element of this room are the large glass sliding doors that cover the entire wall allowing you to enjoy the amazing view over the grounds, swimming pool and mountains beyond.  The glass on these is lightly tinted to maximize natural illumination without the glare.  The kitchen area itself is full of all the modern perks and essential cooking utensils.  The island is situated once again to allow you to gaze at the fabulous surroundings and admire the stunning villa, inside and out.  Cooking is a pleasure in this space with ten gas burners, two large ovens, and numerous electric appliances

Bedrooms

Casa Pimenton has four bedrooms.  The king-sized double bedroom is located on the ground floor.  This has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, double basin and a walk in shower.  There is also plenty of cupboard space and french doors leading to the outside.

On the first floor there is another large bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom.  This also has a bath, walk in shower and double basin.  (There is also the option of adding more single beds to this room or a twin made up as a double).  This room has a substantial amount of space and plenty of cupboards.

The master bedroom is across the hallway also on the first floor with plenty of light filled space.  This room has a king-size double bed with french doors and a fabulous dressing room leading through to the en-suite bathroom.  This boasts a walk-in power-shower and a roll-top bathtub and double basins all with a classy modern finish.  There are also french doors in the bathroom with a small balcony where once again you can enjoy the stunning views. 

The fourth bedroom is located in a separate apartment on the outside of the main house.  It is accessed via an external staircase.  This is perfect for additional guests or a couple needing their privacy.  It allows some independence with its own kitchenette with a 4-ring gas hob and all the essential appliances. It also has satellite TV, DVD player, i-pod docking station and air conditioning.  The bedroom has a double bed with plenty of windows and light streaming in, a balcony and a view of the village of Gaucin sitting on the mountain top in the distance.  The bathroom has a shower and single basin. 

Outside Area

The large lawned garden is a wonderful space to enjoy your holiday.  The vast olive tree gives the garden a wonderful mountain aura and the sculptured trees surrounding the grounds accentuate the modern style of this villa.  The loungers and sun beds are of great quality scattered around the grounds allowing a relaxed read in the shaded areas or tanning by the inviting pool.  The garden is also carefully designed for children and their safety with gates surrounding it. The pool has a large shallow area (6m x 2m) which can also be covered for child safety by remote control with an automatic roll-over cap.  Lounging by the pool, admiring the mountains in this huge open space is so incredibly private and silent.  The entrance patio is also a safe and fun place for children to play with a trampoline to help keep them content.  There are also beautiful fields and hills surrounding the area where guests are also welcome to walk and pick vegetables from the organic plot to complement meals.

Travel

Travelling to Gaucin

We recommend you fly into Malaga, approximately 100 km from Casares or Gibraltar (closer) approximately 50 km.  Check out skyscanner  to compare prices.  You can even fly to Jerez or Seville.  

We do recommend hiring a car while you are out here, the journey from either airport is not hard.  You can take in some of the breathtaking scenery on the way to Casares.  

Travelling from Malaga and need a car?  Check out Sixt Car Rental.. Travelling from Gibraltar airport?  Walking across the border to Spain is quick and easy and takes you to the town of La Linea.  For car hire check out, Europcar   la Linea.

Prices, Booking and Cancellation Policies

Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the 'Cancellation Policy'.


Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.  


Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
