You will find Casa Luz down a small dusty track conveniently situated just on the edge of the village and nestled on the mountainside giving fabulous views and peaceful outside areas.  This house is all about location, location, location!  It is a very easy walk into the village, which will take you around eight minutes.  This gives you the benefit of being in a secluded countryside villa and at the same time, being able to visit the village without your car.  Perfect.

 Due to the situation of this house, (nestled into the side of the mountain), there are four levels to the property, which all enjoy these amazing views.  The top level is the master bedroom with a terrace.  The main level has a lovely long covered terrace, where you enter the villa.  Inside, on this ground floor level, is the living room with two large comfortable sofas and a wood burner for colder evenings.  An archway leads into the kitchen and two of the bedrooms also give off this living space.  There is satellite TV, with a DVD player and USB port, a selection of DVD’s and books and wi-fi connection.  Steps leading down from this level take you to a lovely covered alcove where there is a seating area and once again steps lead you down to the lowest level where you will find the pool area.

Kitchen

The kitchen has a central table and chairs with French windows giving onto the terrace and the spectacular views.  There is a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and a 4 ring gas hob.  There is a toaster, cafetiere and plenty of crockery and utensils to cook in the house.
There is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedrooms

On the main level (ground level) there is a twin bedroom, giving onto the living room, with an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and wc.  The two single beds can be pushed together.
The second bedroom, also giving onto the living room, has a small double bed.   (This may be more comfortable as a single room).
The third room, the master bedroom, located on the top floor, has a double bed and a wonderful terrace accessed via French windows.  There are two bathrooms which sit next to this bedroom, one with a bath, basin and wc and the other a shower room with basin and wc.  These are not en-suite so can be shared with the double room downstairs. 
All rooms have fans and central heating units.

Outside

The lovely long covered terrace stretches along the width of the house.  At the far end this terrace opens up into a seating area with an outside table and chairs and a barbeque.

Take some steps down and you will find yourselves in a cute little corner where you can enjoy a drink of tea, wine, cava, water, play cards, relax and enjoy the surroundings or simply sleep.  There is a small fridge here for convenience.  
Down some more steps and you are at the lovely swimming pool, which is salt water filtered and an unusual kidney shape at approximately 8m x 3m and 1m - 2.5m deep.  There is a delightful shaded pergola and plenty of space with sunbeds to relax and enjoy!

Travel

Travelling to Gaucin

We recommend you fly into Malaga, approximately 115 km from Gaucin or Gibraltar (a little closer) approximately 58 km .  Check out skyscanner  to compare prices.  You can even fly to Jerez or Seville.  

We do recommend hiring a car while you are out here, the journey from either airport is not hard.  You can take in some of the breathtaking scenery on the way to Gaucin and the Andalucian Mountains.  

Travelling from Malaga and need a car?  Check out Sixt Car Rental.. Travelling from Gibraltar airport?  Walking across the border to Spain is quick and easy and takes you to the town of La Linea.  For car hire check out, Europcar   la Linea.

Prices, Booking and Cancellation Policies

Price Per Week

Changeover day is on a Saturday, although may be flexible outside of the summer months, please enquire.
The property must be vacated by 10am.      
Arrival is at 4pm unless previously agreed with agent.
All linen is provided including pool towels. 
Linen change will be provided on rentals of more than one week.


Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the 'Cancellation Policy'.


Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.  


Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
