Casa Chile is a secret part of a beautiful Spanish estate located just below the village of Gaucin.  The location could not be more stunning, tucked into the side of a hill overlooking the countryside and across the sea to Africa.  This two bedroom villa is hidden within these adventurous grounds and is set away from the main house of the estate with a separate driveway and entrance.  Impressive solid Spanish wooden doors take you into a striking open plan space with warming elements and high beamed ceilings.  It is a single storey villa with large windows and doors and a fabulous amount of living space.  The south facing terrace and gardens are spectacular with steep steps taking you down to the private pool area.  There is no better place to relax while admiring the views from the infinity pool or outdoor Jacuzzi.  This truly is a peaceful and relaxing environment, romantic and luxurious.  For the more adventurous the mountainous countryside can be explored easily on foot and although a little steep it is possible to walk into the village of Gaucin.


Entering this villa you find yourself immediately in the heart of the house, engulfed by the high ceiling and extremely generous living area which incorporates the kitchen/dining area.  The kitchen area is, again, generous with a hefty wooden dining table in the centre, and an open kitchen grill.  It is very well equipped with all essential cooking facilities

The living area has plenty of comfortable sofas, a large open fire place and is decorated with Spanish and Moorish artifacts.  Large French doors lead onto the delightful south facing terrace which expands along the length of the house.  The windows and doors surrounding this area create a fresh, comfortable and stylish space.


Each bedroom has its own separate door leading off the living area.  The double bedroom is delightful with French doors leading onto the main terrace, allowing you to gaze across the landscape.  The second bedroom is a twin room, equally as beautiful.  Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom and fitted cupboards.

Outside Area

The main terrace, facing due south, truly has the most spectacular views.  Running the full length of the house this wide terrace is perfect for alfresco dining; alternatively, take time to relax in this tranquil setting.  From here steep steps take you down to the sloping garden and private pool area.  The beautiful infinity pool is surrounded by a terrace and lawns with sun loungers and a covered patio. 
A Jacuzzi, built into its own gazebo is just a step away from the terrace.
There is plenty of exploring to be done beyond the beautifully kept lawns.  The countryside offers many walks and paths, but if you are not so adventurous you can admire the immediate surroundings, and explore the grounds within the estate which includes the main house and nearby cottages .
Don’t forget, you have access to the tennis court which belongs to the main house (subject to availability and booking).

Travelling to Gaucin

We recommend you fly into Malaga, approximately 115 km from Gaucin or Gibraltar (a little closer) approximately 58 km .  Check out skyscanner  to compare prices.  You can even fly to Jerez or Seville.  

We do recommend hiring a car while you are out here, the journey from either airport is not hard.  You can take in some of the breathtaking scenery on the way to Gaucin and the Andalucian Mountains.

Prices, Booking and Cancellation Policies

Arrival time is 4.30pm and departure time 10.30am
Casa Chile is available year round, weekend breaks are considered out of high season, please enquire
Linen and towels are provided and changeover is provided on rentals of over one week
Firewood is supplied for winter lets
Please note, this is not suitable for young children due to the steep steps.

Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the 'Cancellation Policy'.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.  

Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
