Casa Bella is a unique country villa set in complete privacy surrounded by almost ten acres of stunning Spanish countryside.  The characteristic Moorish style of this villa is impressive with delicate details in the designs; clay tiles, rustic marble floors, fountains and an exquisite central courtyard with arches and pillars.  The villa is impeccably built with large rooms and high ceilings with splendid interiors and comfortable furniture.  The outdoor areas are numerous with the large central courtyard, outside bar area with barbeque, chill areas and private infinity pool.  The views from all these special spots are stunning, with the Castle of Gaucin and beyond reaching across the mountainside to the sea and Africa.  Casa Bella is located approximately 4km outside of Gaucin and is incredibly peaceful and private with few properties nearby.  The villa has 10mb internet connection, Satellite television and numerous movies to watch.  This is a fantastic holiday home for families or groups.

Living and Dining Area

As you enter the villa through the large Spanish wooden doors you immediately feel the open spaces in this grand home.  The living area is situated to the right with comfortable sofas, an open fireplace, satellite/cable television and a selection of movies to enjoy.  Beyond the living area is the dining room and additional television room.  These rooms have direct access to the Moorish central courtyard with incredible views

Kitchen

The kitchen is of a considerable size with a breakfast table and plenty of cooking space.  It has all the essentials plus an aga oven, gas oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer.  It is well equipped with dishes and utensils plus a coffee maker and toaster.  There is a separate pantry plus a washing machine, dryer and iron.  The kitchen also has direct access to the central courtyard where there are staircases connecting down to the pool and up to the roof terrace area.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom is located in the main part of the house.  A staircase beside the kitchen and living area lead to this majestic and richly furnished room including en-suite bathroom with a Moorish influenced bath and overhead shower.  Two further bedrooms are on the opposite side of the central courtyard, both with en-suite bathrooms.  In addition there is a large basement room with a double bed, bathroom, seating area and plenty of space.  With its own individual entrance this is perfect for those couples or even teenagers needing a little privacy.

Three of the four bedrooms have their own television and hairdryers are provided.

Outside

The outside areas are just superb with numerous chill out spaces, terraces and gardens.  From every part you are able to enjoy the wonderful views.  The central courtyard is stunning with a lovely Moroccan influence, sunbathing areas and shaded seating space.  From here you can access all areas of the villa, inside and out.  An outdoor staircase will take you to the roof top where there is a bar and lounge area.  This can also be accessed via the master bedroom.  Another staircase leads you down to the pool area.  There is a large artificial grass area with a 10mx4m private infinity pool, plenty of sun beds and space for the kids to kick a football around.  You can also enjoy the covered bar area down here with fridge, barbeque and loungers to relax in the shade.  The outside of this villa is fabulous, surrounded by mature countryside, fantastic walks and incredible views.

Casa Bella is located in the countryside about 4km outside of Gaucin.  A car is recommend when booking this villa.   Access to the house is along a private track and parking is available on the grounds.  The village of Gaucin has traditional tapas bars and delightful restaurants.  There are also plenty of shops to be found along the narrow streets with local produce, plus larger general stores and a pharmacy.  

Gaucin is perfectly situated in the Andalucian Mountains to enjoy both the cultural and historic cities and the buzz and glamour of the coastal towns.  The mountains provide a sense of peace with wonderful walks, horse riding and many other cultural activities and art filled pleasures.  The coast being so close also allows you to explore and have some fun on the water, take your pick of many Golf courses or indulge in the boutiques and nightlife.  For more details on Gaucin and the surrounding areas please see the JamPot Villas Explore page or feel free to email.

Travel

Travelling to Gaucin

We recommend you fly into Malaga, approximately 115 km from Gaucin or Gibraltar (a little closer) approximately 58 km .  Check out skyscanner  to compare prices.  You can even fly to Jerez or Seville.  

We do recommend hiring a car while you are out here, the journey from either airport is not hard.  You can take in some of the breathtaking scenery on the way to Gaucin and the Andalucian Mountains.  

Travelling from Malaga and need a car?  Check out Sixt Car Rental.. Travelling from Gibraltar airport?  Walking across the border to Spain is quick and easy and takes you to the town of La Linea.  For car hire check out, Europcar   la Linea.

Prices, Booking and Cancellation Policies

Changeover day is a Saturday but may be flexible, please enquire.
Arrival time is 4pm unless previously agreed with the agent.
The property must be vacated by 11am.
All linen and towels are provided and a change will be made on rentals of more than one week.
If heating is required this is charged at an extra of €30.00 per day.

Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the 'Cancellation Policy'.


Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.  


Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
