As you walk into Casa Paloma an impressive hallway with high ceilings takes your eye directly into the striking living room and straight ahead to the views beyond.  This does not feel like a typical penthouse apartment, more so a grand villa on the third floor of an even grander building.  Luxury is immediately apparent as you walk through the apartment.  The decor and furnishings are cool with whites, beiges and lovely patterns, simple but beautiful and of an extremely high standard.  There are spacious terrace areas running along the length of the apartment and also access from each bedroom, giving views across the outstandingly well maintained gardens and mature trees beyond.   This is a highly secure development and everything is kept to a high standard with a porter on the entrance gates.  There are three outdoor pools for you to choose from and there is also a gymnasium and pitch and put practice area.  Location-wise you have the Valderrama golf club within walking distance and only a five minute drive from beaches with many chiringuitos (beach bars),  and the elegant port of Sotogrande. 


The living area and dining area is one large room.  The living area has amazingly comfortable sofas with large French windows running along the length of the room leading to the main terrace.  There is a large television with satellite and wifi access.  The dining area has a large dining table for six and an additional round dining table to seat five. 


The kitchen is impressive with a modern design and granite worktops, plenty of worktop space and cupboard space.  There is a bar area with four bar stools to enjoy a casual breakfast and It is fully equipped with all you need including a Nespresso machine, oven, microwave oven, 5 ring hob, plate warmer, electric juicer and large fridge freezer.  There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine and dryer and a connecting terrace to dry clothes.   A door leads to the beginning of the main terrace where there is a large barbeque, sink and cupboards.  This is a fantastic area for the summer outdoor living and cooking, and is hidden around the corner from the front of the terrace.


There are four double bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, terrace access, heated towel rails, air conditioning, heating, cupboard space and ceiling fans.  Two are located to one side of the main floor and two more located upstairs on the first floor of this duplex apartment.

On the main floor the first double bedroom has an en-suite with  a walk in shower, single basin, wc and bidet.   Double doors lead to a private terrace with 2 sun loungers.

The second double bedroom has a bath, walk in shower, double basin, wc and bidet.  A large door connects out to the main terrace where there are additional sun loungers.

Upstairs is a third double bedroom with a walk in shower, single basin, wc and bidet.  The fourth bedroom, the master bedroom, is extremely spacious with a grand en-suite bathroom.  There is a bath, shower, basin, wc and bidet.  Both of these bedrooms lead on to a connecting terrace with four sun loungers and stunning views.


The apartment terrace areas are extremely spacious.  The main terrace areas leading off the living and dining area have an outdoor table with seating for up to eight, large outdoor sofas and chairs and plenty of sun loungers.  This also connects to the barbeque area which is just around the corner  providing direct access to the kitchen.  The views form all the terraces are of lush land and beautiful sights.  The communal grounds are immaculately maintained, with three outdoor swimming pools and plenty of gardens providing a safe and secure environment.  The development is gated with a security guard and there is also a gymnasium and a pitch and put practice area.  This is truly  a luxurious experience!

This penthouse is located in Sotogrande Alto which is the upper part of Sotogrande.  This is an elegant residential area with beautifully kept villas and developments.  It is quiet and tranquil with views of the local golf courses or the sea in beyond.  You can play at the golf courses which include the Almenara and famous Valderrama courses, along with others nearby.  A short drive, approximately 5 minutes from Casa Paloma, you can enjoy the buzzing marina and port of Sotogrande.  Locally you will find all you need, restaurants, bars, large super markets and plenty of shops, but we do recommend you hire a car.
Sotogrande is perfectly situated in Southern Andalucia to enjoy  both the cultural and historic cities, the buzz and glamour of the coastal towns along the costa del sol and the beautiful golden sand beaches along the costa de la luz. Travelling to Sotogrande

 We recommend you fly into Gibraltar or Malaga.  Gibraltar is a short distance, only 30 km to Sotogrande.  Hiring a taxi is simple and inexpensive from the border of Gibraltar, alternatively there are many car hire places across the border.  Malaga is approximately 106 km from Sotogrande.  Check out skyscanner  to compare prices.  You can even fly to Jerez or Seville.  

We do recommend hiring a car while you are out here, the journey from either airport is not hard.  You can take in some of the breathtaking scenery on the way to Gaucin and the Andalucian Mountains.  

Travelling from Malaga and need a car?  Check out Sixt Car Rental.. Travelling from Gibraltar airport?  Walking across the border to Spain is quick and easy and takes you to the town of La Linea.  For car hire check out, Europcar   la Linea.

Prices, Booking and Cancellation Policies

Price Per Week

Casa Paloma requires payment in Euros.  

July and August 2018                 €3,000.00

The changeover date is Saturday but may be flexible please enquire.
A weekly change of linen and towels is included.
The price also includes a maid service.
A damage deposit of €500.00 will be required  and returned on your departure should there be no damage to the property.

Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the 'Cancellation Policy'.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.  

Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
