Casa Delphin is a delightful villa with its own private pool and garden set in the peaceful Sotogrande Alto. The stylish interior has been specifically designed for comfortable holiday living.   The outside areas have two spacious sun terraces, one on each of the levels of the villa, both overlooking the peaceful garden and pool.  The uninterrupted panoramic views give onto the 3rd fairway of the Almenara golf course and the San Roque golf course beyond.

The world class golf courses of Valderama, La Reserva and Almenara, as well as the Almenara Hotel and Spa, marina, beaches, exclusive bars and restaurants, supermarkets, tennis courts and equestrian centre are all within a 5 to 10 minute drive away.

Living/Dining Area

The living area of Casa Delphin is on the entrance level, beyond the hall way, where the views can already be admired.  The room has comfortable sofas and is decorated with ease and style all personally chosen by the caring owners to create a sense of tranquility.  Beside the open plan living area is the dining room which has a table seating up to eight.  The upper outside terrace runs alongside these rooms and the views of the garden and golf course beyond are stunning.  There is an open fireplace, under floor heating and wifi access.


Four Bedrooms:  2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms.
The master bedroom is located on the upper level, accessed from the living area.  The layout of this level makes it wonderful for a single couple looking for an easy and peaceful holiday just close to the golf courses!.  This master bedroom has a four poster double bed, and its own private terrace alongside a further part covered terrace with beautiful uninterrupted views over the valley and golf course.  It also has an en-suite bathroom with bath, walk in shower and double basin.  The room has underfloor heating and air-conditioning.
The other three bedrooms are located on the next level down.  The access is via an elegant staircase going down from the entrance hall. These bedrooms all have large sliding glazed doors  opening out onto the lower sun terrace.  Venetian shutters can be closed to keep the hot sun out if you are having an afternoon siesta.
The first is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, bath and basin.  This room has air conditioning.
Running along the corridor are the other two bedrooms.  These are twin rooms with two single beds in each.  They share a bathroom which has a walk in shower, bath and basin.
All bedrooms have generous cupboard spaces.

On this level, quietly tucked away,  there is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board, iron and an extra fridge.

Outside Areas

There are two terraces that run the full length of the house on both levels. They are long and spacious and perfect for relaxing and admiring the surroundings.  The upper terrace has a coffee table, two rattan sofas and armchairs and a wrought iron dining table and chairs for al fresco dining.  A beautiful bougainvillea grows along this terrace. To one side there are outdoor steps leading down to the lower terrace level and the pool.  A child safety gate has been installed at the top of these steps and also on the lower level preventing children from roaming unattended to the pool area.  Beyond these terraces, along a small pathway is the garden and pool area.  This is a lovely area to relax on the sun loungers with large parasols and also perfect for children to play.  It is private and tranquil.

There are also two travel cots available and a high chair.
The property also has its own table tennis for you to enjoy.

This villa is located in Sotogrande Alto which is the upper part of Sotogrande.  This is an elegant residential area with beautifully kept villas.  It is quiet and tranquil, most villas enjoying views of the local golf courses or the sea beyond.  You can play at the local golf courses which include the Almenara and famous Valderrama courses, along with others nearby.  A short drive, approximately 10 minutes from Casa Delphin, you can enjoy the buzzing marina and port of Sotogrande.  Locally you will find all you need, restaurants, bars, large super markets and plenty of shops, but we do recommend you hire a car.
Sotogrande is perfectly situated in Southern Andalucia to enjoy  both the cultural and historic cities, the buzz and glamour of the coastal towns along the costa del sol and the beautiful golden sand beaches along the costa de la luz. Travelling to Sotogrande

 We recommend you fly into Gibraltar or Malaga.  Gibraltar is a short distance, only 30 km to Sotogrande.  Hiring a taxi is simple and inexpensive from the border of Gibraltar, alternatively there are many car hire places across the border.  Malaga is approximately 106 km from Sotogrande.  Check out skyscanner  to compare prices.  You can even fly to Jerez or Seville. 

We do recommend hiring a car while you are out here, the journey from either airport is not hard.  You can take in some of the breathtaking scenery on the way to Gaucin and the Andalucian Mountains.  

Travelling from Malaga and need a car?  Check out Sixt Car Rental.. Travelling from Gibraltar airport?  Walking across the border to Spain is quick and easy and takes you to the town of La Linea.  For car hire check out, Europcar   la Linea.

Prices, Booking and Cancellation Policies

Please note, the changeover day is a Saturday although this may be flexible outside of high season, please enquire.
Five night breaks are available outside of June July and August, please enquire.
Arrival time is 3pm and departure 10am unless previously arranged with JamPot Villas.
All linen, towels and pool towels are provided.
A change of linen and clean is provided on booking of two weeks or more.

Please note, a damage deposit of £300.00 in cash  is required upon your arrival and returned upon departure should there be no damage to the property.

Booking Policy:

30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival.  If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.

Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house.  If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the 'Cancellation Policy'.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email.  Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email.  If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit.  If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged.  If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).

In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.

We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.  

Damage Deposits:

Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
