Casa Lindo is a hidden gem enjoying peace and tranquillity. The location is outstanding, surrounded by the beautiful countryside and yet within a few minutes walk to the centre of Gaucin. Spacious gardens, terrace areas and the generous pool all boast magnificent views across the Spanish mountainside and beyond to Gibraltar and Africa. Casa Lindo is warming and homely inside, with a charming mix of contemporary and Moorish touches. Antique furniture, colourful artwork and cosy furnishings all bring together the charm of the house. Passing through the gates and onto the driveway you would not imagine the shops and bars are only a few minutes walk away. As you enter the hallway the bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor with the kitchen and living area up the stairs on the first floor – and you’ll see why! Rustic garden areas surrounding the house including a large pool which is shared by the owner and in the summer months there is limited use (please see details on ‘Outside Areas’).
The living area, situated on the first floor, has the advantage of magnificent views. There is a feeling of tranquillity with comfortable sofas, an open fireplace and dining table. French doors take you to a shaded terrace that runs the length of the house. A perfect place to enjoy some al fresco dining and enjoy those views! There is an Apple TV box plus some news channels available on the television and use of a DVD player. The house also offers wireless internet throughout.
The kitchen is also located on the first floor. French doors also lead to the terrace (connecting the living area), allowing the entire floor to enjoy the views with plenty of light and sun streaming through. It is fully equipped with a double sink, four ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. There is plenty to cook with, plus a barbeque located on the terrace.
The double bedroom has a romantic feel with quality linen and french doors leading directly to the garden area. The bathroom is also on this ground level with a single basin and bath with overhead shower.
As well as the terrace area overlooking the pool and landscape, there are garden areas surrounding the cottage, all bordered to allow privacy. There are herbs, flowering shrubs, flowers and terraced areas to lie on the available sunbeds. The owner lives in the villa located at the other end of the ample grounds; far enough away to allow privacy for both. The pool is just beyond the garden, set amongst beautiful flowers and trees. During the summer months there is limited use of the pool as the owner lives there. She may only use this for a dip in the early morning and late evenings. Agreements on this can be made while placing your bookings.

Casa Lindo is located near the centre of Gaucin. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are also plenty of shops with local produce, larger general stores and a pharmacy. Gaucin itself is perfectly situated in the Andalucian Mountains to enjoy both the cultural and historic cities and the buzz and glamour of the coastal towns. The mountains provide a sense of peace with wonderful walks, horse riding and many other cultural activities and art filled pleasures. The coast being so close also allows you to explore and have some fun on the water, take your pick of many Golf courses or indulge in the boutiques and nightlife.

A breakage deposit of £200 is required in cash upon arrival
30% deposit will be required on booking.
Final 70% must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival. If your holiday commences in less than 8 weeks or if the total value of your booking is less than £200.00 / €250.00 full payment will be due when you book.
Once your reservation deposit has been received Jampot Villas will send you a booking confirmation which confirms the contract between you and the owners of the house. If we do not receive the balance by the date outlined (8 weeks prior to arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy the cancellation charges that are set out in the ‘Cancellation Policy’.
If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you must inform Jampot Villas by telephone and by email. Your cancellation will be confirmed upon receipt of email. If receipt of cancellation is received more than 8 weeks prior to the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit. If received within 8 to 2 weeks before the start of your rental date you will forfeit your deposit plus 40% of the total rental price will be charged. If received within 2 weeks before the start of your rental date then you will forfeit your deposit plus the remainder 70% will be charged (the full amount is payable).
In the unlikely case that JamPot Villas has to cancel a booking we will notify you immediately and try to offer an alternative. In case of non-acceptance of the alternative by the renter, JamPot Villas will reimburse the renter all payments made and the renter loses any rights other than the reimbursement of payments made.
We do advise that you purchase suitable personal and travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation due to ill health or force majeure.
Certain properties require a Damage Deposit, the amount (outlined on the individual properties) will be due in cash upon arrival and returned on your departure day after inspection of the property. Should any breakage or damage occur during your stay you must inform the house manager and Jampot Villas immediately.
